Named after the ship of the infamous children's cartoon character, Captain Pugwash, Black Pig Border was formed in 1986 in Langley Mill/Eastwood on the Nottingham and Derby border. Over the years we have developed our own style of Border Morris performing both traditional dances and some of our own invention. We are a mixed group of both female and male dancers and musicians. We wear brightly coloured tailcoats and top hats festooned with feathers, flowers, ribbons and bells.

NB: We have now moved this site over to www.blackpigborder.uk - ie with no '.co'. This is the URL you should bookmark - regardless of what it may say in your browser's address line! Hopefully this has been achieved without problems, but please let us know if you find any broken links.

ALSO note: We always try and respond to enquiries within a day or so but the internet can be fickle so, if you haven't had a reply to something, please try again. We never knowingly ignore you! However, the URL change (and associated change in provider) may result in some email 'issues' which will hopefully resolve themselves in the next day or so as the new information is propagated throughout the aether.
